Thakoon focused on over-sized paisleys for his print stories for Spring 2012. The vibrant turquoise and tangerines were swirled into imaginative patterns cut into everything from shift dresses and flouncy mini skirts, to slim cigarette pants. While verging on visually overwhelming, it never veered in costume territory, and the paisleys in particular looked modern and fresh.
